Féltő szeretete vitte véghez

„Uralma növekedésének és a békének nem lesz vége a Dávid trónján és országában, mert megerősíti és megszilárdítja törvénnyel és igazsággal mostantól fogva mindörökké.” (Ézs6,9)

  Messiási uralkodásról szól az ószövetség evangélista prófétája. Jézus Krisztus születése után mi már nem jövőt álmodó reménykedéssel beszélünk a messiási korszakról, hanem úgy, mint megvalósult tényről. Megszületett a világ Megváltója, Isten megszabadította a bűn nyomorában embertelen körülmények között vergődő és saját magától soha talpra állni képtelen, de vétkeihez gyakran visszaeső embert.

  Kettős érzéssel küzdünk. Egyfelől hisszük és hirdetjük, hogy karácsony az újszövetség első ajándéka, ugyanakkor aggodalmasan szemléljük, hogyan jelentkeznek múltra emlékeztető, és sokszor a legrettenetesebb eseményeket is felülmúló történések. Hogyan alakul a messiási kor, ha a pogány politeizmus folyamatosan kísérti Isten népét, halálosan fojtogatja és tömegesen szedi az áldozatait, kérdezzük egyre szorongóbban az ingerült kételkedők gyűrűjében.

  A prófétákat üldöző sötét világ (Ézs9,1) mintha nem változott volna sorsjobbító irányba. Sőt, romlások sorozatát fedezhetjük fel. Karácsonykor erőteljesebb az ellentmondás, mert szívet bántóbb Isten szeretetének ünnepén a fegyverek ropogásába elvegyülő gyűlölet, lélek gyilkoló a családi találkozásokat szétfeszítő indulatok kirobbanása, vagy a nyugalomban felszentelhető idő megmérgezése és átkos órákra váltott – ünnepinek készülő – alkalmak megfertőzése. Ünnepeink külső és belső szorongások között terhelődnek, és roppannak össze maguk alá temetve a gyógyulást remélő embert. Ezért jutunk el a félelmetes megállapításig, hogy ünnepeink felszínesek és feleslegesek, vagy beállunk azok közé, akik csak szabadon eltölthető, önrendelkezésre rendelt alkalomnak ítélik az ünnepet. Az ünneptelen szabadnapok fizikailag sem pihentetőek annyira, mint az ajándékba nyert örömnapok. Karácsony és minden más Úrnapja azért kimagaslóan más, mint minden másnap, mert ilyenkor Isten is örül az emberrel. Öröme akkor teljes, ha mi egymásnak örülve, együtt örülünk Mindenhatónkkal. Ilyenkor erősödünk a mennyei Hatalmas által, üdülünk Megváltónk szabadításról szóló üzenetével, és így áll helyre az egyensúlyát elveszítő élet a szeretet kiapadhatatlan forrásának, azaz Atyánknak megközelítésekor.

  Ézsaiás próféta tanítja hallgatóit erre a mennyeire, ami már most jelen van az ünnepi világban, azaz az örvendező emberek között, és a sötétségben is fénysugarakat kölcsönző földön. Erőlködik még a sátáni megtévesztés, az ördögi butaság még szedi az áldozatokat, a tragédiákon meggazdagodók utolsó krajcárig behajtják a halál jutalékát, a gyilkos szándék Istent célozza, de az embert öli eszement pusztítás vérmocsarában.

  Ilyen állapotok között kell a karácsonyi evangéliumnak megszólalnia! Mindennek, ami embertelen, ami sötét, ami sátáni, ami halálos egyszer vége lesz, nem önmagától és nem véletlenül, hanem Isten jóságos akaratából. Nem történik azonnal, de az esemény elkezdődött. A próféta messiáslátása megjelent, mint üdvösséget jelentő hatalom, aminek minden végessel ellentétben, sohasem lesz vége. Bár illuzórikus álmodozásnak hat ez a gondolat, mégsem az. Illetve nehezen elképzelhető megvalósulásról gúnyolódnak a hitetlenek és bizonytalankodnak a megtévesztett egyháziak is. Ünneprontás nélkül ki kell mondanunk, ameddig a bizonyságtevő igehirdetés nem szólal meg ellenállhatatlanul és lerázva minden hamis kompromisszumot, addig segíteni fogja a rossz győzelmi vágyát. Végleg szakítani kell ezzel a langyos – se nem hideg, se nem forró – keresztyéni gyávasággal. Egyre határozottabban, lendületesebben, bátrabban mondanunk kell, kiáltanunk kell, alkalmas és alkalmatlan időkben és helyeken, hogy: „Uralma növekedésének és a békének nem lesz vége…”

  A mai keresztyén egyháznak nem feladata, sőt bűne, ha az örök igazságot átfogalmazza, átírja, hamisan magyarázza. Ezzel gyengíti a hit hordozóit, és erősíti a diabolikus hatalmak értelmet és józanságot elveszített győzelmi mámorát. Néhány évtizeden nyomorított és elbénított, gondolkozásról leszoktatott társadalmakat kell nekünk nem kis áldozattal és energiával visszavezetni az évezredek próbáin soha meg nem tántorodott igazsághoz, azaz Isten országa törvénnyel és igazsággal megerősített életteréhez, amely örökre megmarad. Megmarad akkor is, ha ma törvényeket csúfolnak meg, hazugsággal irányítanak, vádakat és rágalmakat helyeznek mindenek elé.

  A végső győzelem karácsonykor megtörtént, mert megszületett az, Aki utunk, igazságunk és életünk! Legyünk Neki elszánt követői, hogy soha ne vegye el semmi tőlünk a bizonyság hiteles hangját, soha ne bizonytalanodjunk el, mert tekintélye a mennyből jött és folyamatosan szüntelenül jönni fog a Benne bizakodókhoz! Imádkozzunk önmagunkért, a képmutató keresztyénekért, az árulókért és a hitetlenekért a tisztán látás reményében!

(Scrisoarea pastorală de Crăciun 2022)

"Creșterea stăpânirii și a păcii lui nu se va sfârși în tronul lui David și nici în împărăția lui, căci el o va întemeia și o va întări cu lege și dreptate de acum înainte, în veci". (Is 6:9)

Despre domnia mesianică se vorbește în Vechiul Testament prin profetul evanghelist. După nașterea lui Iisus Hristos, nu mai vorbim de epoca mesianică cu speranțe de viitor, ci ca de un fapt împlinit. S-a născut Mântuitorul lumii, Dumnezeu a răscumpărat omul care se afla în mizeria păcatului, în condiții inumane, incapabil să se vindece de păcatele sale, ci căzând adesea din nou în păcat.

Ne luptăm cu un sentiment dublu. Pe de o parte, credem și proclamăm Crăciunul ca fiind primul dar al Noului Testament, dar, în același timp, urmărim cu nerăbdare evenimente care ne amintesc de trecut și care, de multe ori, depășesc cele mai teribile evenimente. Cum se va dezvolta epoca mesianică dacă politeismul păgân continuă să bântuie poporul lui Dumnezeu, sufocându-l și făcându-i victime în masă, ne întrebăm cu o neliniște din ce în ce mai mare într-un cerc de îndoieli iritate.

Lumea întunecată care îi persecuta pe profeți (Is 9,1) pare să fi rămas neschimbată în bine. Dimpotrivă, descoperim o serie de deteriorări. Contradicția este mai accentuată de Crăciun, pentru că este mai sfâșietor să auzi, de sărbătoarea iubirii lui Dumnezeu, ura amestecată cu pocnetul armelor, explozia de patimă ucigătoare de suflet care sfâșie reuniunile de familie, sau otrăvirea timpului consacrat în liniște și contaminarea ocaziilor transformate în ore blestemate - festive în aparență. Sărbătorile noastre sunt încărcate de angoase externe și interne, prăbușindu-l și îngropându-l pe omul care speră în vindecare. De aceea, ajungem la concluzia înfricoșătoare că sărbătorile noastre sunt superficiale și de prisos, sau ne alăturăm celor care văd în sărbătoare o ocazie de a petrece liber, o ocazie de autodeterminare. Zilele de repaus obișnuite nu oferă aceeași liniște sufletească ca sărbătorile noastre primite cadou de la Domnul. Crăciunul și toate celelalte zile ale Domnului se deosebesc de toate celelalte zile pentru că sunt zile în care Dumnezeu se bucură împreună cu omul. Bucuria Lui este deplină atunci când ne bucurăm unii cu alții, bucurându-ne împreună cu Atotputernicul nostru. Apoi suntem întăriți de Cel Puternic din ceruri, reîmprospătați de mesajul de mântuire al Mântuitorului nostru și astfel viața care și-a pierdut echilibrul este restabilită pe măsură ce ne apropiem de sursa infailibilă de iubire, Tatăl nostru.

Profetul Isaia îi învață pe credincioșii săi despre acest rai, care este deja prezent în lumea sărbătorii, adică printre oamenii bucuroși, și pe pământ, care dă raze de lumină chiar și în întuneric. Înșelăciunea satanică încă lucrează, nebunia diabolică încă își face victime, cei care se îmbogățesc pe seama tragediei încasează comisionul morții până la ultimul bănuț, intenția criminală îl țintește pe Dumnezeu, dar ucide omul într-o mlaștină sângeroasă de distrugere nebună.

În astfel de condiții trebuie să vorbească Evanghelia Crăciunului! Tot ceea ce este inuman, tot ceea ce este întunecat, tot ceea ce este satanic, tot ceea ce este mortal, va lua sfârșit, nu de la sine și nu din întâmplare, ci prin bunăvoința lui Dumnezeu. Nu se întâmplă imediat, dar evenimentul a început. Viziunea mesianică a profetului a apărut ca o putere de mântuire care, spre deosebire de toate sfârșiturile, nu se va sfârși niciodată. Deși poate părea un vis iluzoriu, nu este așa. Și este o realizare greu de imaginat, batjocorită de necredincioși și pusă la îndoială de credincioșii înșelați. Trebuie să spunem deschis, că atâta timp cât mărturia predicării Cuvântului nu vorbește irezistibil și nu scutură toate compromisurile false, ea va ajuta dorința răului de a învinge. Trebuie să ne despărțim în sfârșit de această lașitate creștină călduță - nici rece, nici fierbinte. Trebuie să spunem, trebuie să strigăm, din ce în ce mai ferm, din ce în ce mai îndrăzneț, în momente și locuri potrivite și nepotrivite: "Nu va fi nici un sfârșit pentru creșterea stăpânirii lui și pentru pace..."

Nu este datoria bisericii creștine, ci păcatul ei, dacă reformulează, rescrie sau interpretează greșit adevărul etern. În acest fel, îi slăbește pe purtătorii credinței și întărește triumful puterilor diabolice care și-au pierdut rațiunea și sănătatea mintală. Trebuie, cu sacrificii și energii mari, să conducem societățile asuprite și paralizate de câteva decenii, private de rațiune, înapoi la adevărul care nu s-a clintit niciodată în încercările mileniilor, adică la spațiul viu al Împărăției lui Dumnezeu, fortificat de lege și justiție, care va rezista veșnic. Ea va rămâne, chiar dacă legile sunt batjocorite, chiar dacă se controlează prin minciună, chiar dacă acuzațiile și defăimările sunt puse mai presus de orice altceva.

Victoria supremă de Crăciun a fost câștigată pentru că S-a născut Cel care este Calea, Adevărul și Viața noastră! Să fim adepți hotărâți ai Lui, pentru ca nimic să nu ne răpească vreodată vocea autentică a mărturiei Sale, să nu șovăim niciodată, pentru că autoritatea Lui este din cer și va veni mereu la cei care se încred în El! Să ne rugăm pentru noi înșine, pentru creștinii ipocriți, pentru trădători și pentru necredincioși, în speranța unei clarviziuni!

His caring love made this happen

Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. (Isaiah 9:6)

The prophet of the Old Testament speaks about the messianic reign. After the birth of Jesus Christ, we no longer refer to the Messianic Age as being a dream of a hopeful future, but an accomplished fact. The Saviour of the world was born. God redeemed humans from sin. They had been suffering from the inhuman conditions due to their sins, being unable to recover by themselves, often relapsing into sin.

This Advent, we have ambivalent feelings: on the one hand, we believe and proclaim that Christmas is the first gift of the New Testament, and, at the same time, we are anxiously observing events that remind us of the past and they often surpass the most horrible happenings. 

How will the Messianic Age develop, when pagan polytheism continues to tempt the people of the Lord, strangling them to death and taking its victims? It seems that the dark world that persecuted the prophets (Isaiah 9:1) has not changed for the better. On  the contrary, we are discovering retrogression. At Christmas the contrast is stronger, as it is more heart-breaking to experience the hatred combined with the sound of guns while preparing to celebrate God’s love. Our holidays are under external and internal pressure. This is the reason why we come to the terrible conclusion that our holidays are superficial and pointless, or we join those who consider celebrations opportunities to spend holidays freely, as occasions designated for self-determination. Holidays without celebration are not physically as relaxing either, as the gifted days full of joy.

Christmas, along with all the other days of Lord, is outstanding because during this time God rejoices with humans. His joy is complete only when we rejoice with each other and with our Almighty. This way, we are strengthened by the heavenly Mighty One, refreshed by the message about our Saviour’s salvation, and this is how the life that has lost its balance, restores when approaching Our Father, the unfailing source of love.    

Prophet Isaiah teaches about heaven, which is already present in our festive world, namely among celebrators, and on our planet, emitting beams even in darkness. Satanic deception still struggles, diabolical folly still takes its victims. The murderous intention targets God, but kills people in a bloody swamp of insane murder. It is in such conditions, that the Christmas Gospel must speak!

Everything that is inhuman, that is dark or deadly will come to an end, not by itself or by chance, but by God’s goodwill. This will not happen overnight, but the process has started. The prophet’s messianic vision has appeared as a power of salvation that will never end. Although this idea might seem an illusory dreaming, it is not.

We must pronounce without spoiling the holiday, that unless the testimony preaching does not speak irresistibly, getting rid of all false compromises, it will support the evil’s wish for victory. We must quit this lukewarm –– neither cold, nor hot Christian cowardice.

We must say more and more firmly, more dynamically, we must cry out in all circumstances,  times  and places, whether appropriate or not: „…of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. …”

It is not the duty of the present-day church, and it becomes sin  if they paraphrase, rewrite and misinterpret the eternal truth. This way it weakens the faith bearers and strengthens the diabolic powers’ flush of victory that has lost its significance and reason.

Our present task, which requires a lot of sacrifice  and energy is to redirect the society which has been kept in misery and paralyzed and has not been allowed to think, to the truth that has been always sturdy during all those thousands of years full of challenge, to the God’s Kingdom where laws and justice support life and it will last forever. It will endure, even though these days laws are mocked, and accusations and aspersion come before everything else.

At Christmas the final victory was achieved, as He, who is our path, our truth and our life, was born! Let us be his devoted followers, so that we can keep the genuine voice of certainty, let us never falter as His influence derives from Heaven and will continue to come to those who believe in Him. Let us pray for ourselves, for the hypocrite Christians, for the traitors and for the unbelievers, in hope of discernment.
