PÜNKÖSDI PÁSZTORLEVÉL (HU-EN-RO)
Sokan talán nem is tudják: Pünkösd, a Szentlélek kitöltetésének ünnepe közeledik. Nem ettől hangos a média, nem ezt népszerűsítik az internetes közösségi oldalak bejegyzései, videói. Az emberek többsége nem is tudná hirtelen mit válaszoljon, ha valaki feltenné neki ezt a kérdést: Mi a pünkösd?
Más kérdések foglalkoztatják a ma emberét. Nem sorolom őket, de mindenki tesztelheti magát ezen a téren. Amivel a legtöbbet foglalkozunk, az határozza meg a gondolatainkat, mindennapi életünket. Mivel a legtöbb kérdésünkre nincs megnyugtató válasz, ez lelki teherként nehezedik ránk. Ha lenne egy olyan műszer, ami mérné a bennünk, vagy akár a mai társadalomban lévő feszültséget, akkor annak mutatója gyakran kerülne a piros zónába. Ez egyértelműen jelzi, hogy valami nagyon nincs rendben és míg nem késő, addig kell rajta változtatni!
Gyakran éli át még a hívő keresztyén ember is a tanácstalanság állapotát:Mit tegyek? Mit mondjak? Melyik a helyes döntés?
A fentebb idézett mondatottal Jézus már akkor biztatja tanítványait, mikor még fizikai valóságában is velük volt. Még csak ezután következett:elfogatása, szenvedése, nagypénteki kereszthalála, húsvéti feltámadása és dicsőséges mennybemenetele. A Mester tudja mi vár tanítványaira, előre látja azt a bizonytalanságot és tanácstalanságot is, amely őket terhelni fogja, amikor mennybemenetele után egyedül maradnak. Ezért szól már előre: „Nem hagylak titeket árván, eljövök hozzátok.” Nem maradtok egyedül, támasz nélkül. Lesz Pártfogótok, Vigasztalótok, aki a Szentlélek. „Ő megtanít majd titeket mindenre, és eszetekbe juttat mindent, amit én mondtam nektek.” Amit Jézus megígért az első pünkösdkor beteljesedett és azóta is beteljesedik minden hívő ember életében.
Legyen ez számunkra az idei pünkösd egyik nagyon erőteljes biztatása: nem vagyunk árvák és a Szentlélek mindenre megtanít, minden helyzetben utat mutat. Feszültségeinket, terheinket, kérdéseinket vigyük Jézushoz, aki Szentlelke által ma is velünk van! Imádságainkban őszintén tárjunk elé mindent! Az emberi bűn előidézte káoszból csak Szentlélek által találjuk meg a kivezető utat. Csak a Lélek tud minket olyan tanítványokká tenni, akik az Ő segítségével minden helyzetből fel tudnak állni és tovább tudnak haladni az üdvösség felé vezető úton.
Kérjük hát Dáviddal együtt: „Tiszta szívet teremts bennem, Istenem, és az erős lelket újítsd meg bennem! Ne vess el orcád elől, Szentlelkedet ne vedd el tőlem!” (Zsolt 52,12-13)
Szentlélek ajándékaiban gazdag pünkösdöt adjon az Úr mindannyiunknak!

PENTECOST PASTORAL
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (...) But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:18, 26)
Perhaps many don't even know: Pentecost, the celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, is approaching. The media isn't buzzing about it, and it's not being popularized by posts and videos on social media. Most people wouldn't suddenly know what to answer if someone asked them: what is Pentecost?
Modern people are focusing on other issues. I won't list them, but everyone may test themselves in this respect. What we focus on the most determines our thoughts and our daily lives. Since most of our questions don't have reassuring answers, this weighs on us as a spiritual burden. If there were a device that could measure the tension within us, or even in today's society, its indicator would often go into the red zone. This clearly indicates that something is very wrong, and while it's not too late, something needs to change!
Even the believing Christian often experiences a state of indecision: What should I do? What should I say? Which is the right decision?
With the verse quoted above, Jesus encourages his disciples even when he was still physically with them. Only after this came his arrest, suffering, death on the cross on Good Friday, his resurrection at Easter, and his glorious ascension into heaven. The Master knows what awaits his disciples; he foresees the uncertainty and indecision that will burden them when they are left alone after his ascension. That is why he speaks beforehand: “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” You will not be left alone, without support. You will have an Advocate, a Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit that “will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” What Jesus promised at the first Pentecost was fulfilled, and since then it has been fulfilled in the life of every believer.
Let this be a very powerful encouragement for us this Pentecost: we are not orphans, and the Holy Spirit teaches us all things and shows us the way in every situation. Let's bring our tensions, our burdens, our questions to Jesus, who is still with us today through the Holy Spirit! In our prayers, let's honestly lay everything before Him! From the chaos caused by human sin, we can find the way out only through the Holy Spirit. Only the Spirit can make us disciples who, with His help, can rise from any situation and continue on the path leading to salvation.
So let us pray, along with David: “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.” (Psalm 51:10-11)
May the Lord grant us all a Pentecost rich in the gifts of the Holy Spirit!

SCRISOARE PASTORALĂ DE RUSALII
„Nu vă voi lăsa orfani; voi veni la voi. (...) Iar Mângâietorul, Duhul Sfânt, pe care Tatăl Îl va trimite în Numele Meu, vă va învăța toate lucrurile și vă va aduce aminte de tot ce v-am spus Eu.” (Ioan 14:18, 26)
Probabil mulți nu știu că se apropie Rusaliile, sărbătoarea revărsării Duhului Sfânt. Nu e subiectul care domină mass-media, nici postările sau videoclipurile de pe rețelele sociale. Dacă li s-ar pune întrebarea,majoritatea oamenilor nu ar ști ce înseamnă, de fapt, Rusaliile.
Omul de azi e preocupat de alte întrebări. Nu le voi enumera, dar fiecare se poate testa în acest domeniu. Iar lucrul care ne preocupă cel mai multne determină și gândurile, viața de zi cu zi. Faptul că la majoritatea întrebărilor noastre nu există un răspuns liniștitor ne apasă ca o povară spirituală. Dacă ar exista un instrument care să ne măsoare tensiunea din noi, sau chiar din societatea contemporană, indicatorul acestuia ar ajunge adesea în zona roșie. Acest lucru indică în mod clar că ceva nu esteîn regulă și, până nu este prea târziu, trebuie schimbat!
Adesea, chiar și creștinul credincios trăiește o stare de nehotărâre: Ce să fac? Ce să spun? Care este decizia corectă?
Cu fraza citată mai sus, Isus îi încuraja pe ucenicii Săi încă de pe când era fizic cu ei. Abia după aceea a fost arestat, a suferit, a murit pe cruce în Vinerea Mare, a înviat de Paști și s-a înălțat în glorie. Învățătorul știe ce îi așteaptă pe ucenicii Săi, anticipează incertitudinea și nedumerirea care urmează să îi vor cuprindă în momentul în care vor rămâne singuri după înălțarea Sa. De aceea le vorbește dinainte: „Nu vă voi lăsa orfani; voi veni la voi.” Nu veți rămâne singuri, fără sprijin. Veți avea un Mângâietor, un Apărător, și anume: Duhul Sfânt. „El vă va învăța toate lucrurile și vă va aduce aminte de tot ce v-am spus Eu.” Ceea ce Isus a promis la primul Rusalii s-a împlinit și de atunci continuă să se împlinească în viața fiecărui credincios.
Fie aceasta o încurajare profundă a Rusaliilor de anul acesta: nu suntem orfani și Duhul Sfânt ne învață toate lucrurile, ne arată calea în orice situație. Tensiunile, poverile, întrebările noastre să le aducem lui Isus, care prin Duhul Său cel Sfânt este și azi cu noi! În rugăciunile noastre, să-I dezvăluim cu sinceritate totul! Doar prin Duhul Sfânt ne putem găsi calea de ieșire din haosul cauzat de păcatul uman.Doar Duhul ne poate face ucenici care, cu ajutorul Său, pot să treacă peste orice dificultate și să înainteze pe calea care duce la mântuire.
Să cerem, așadar, împreună cu David: „Zidește în mine o inimă curată, Dumnezeule, și înnoiește în mine un duh statornic! Nu mă lepăda de la fața Ta și nu lua de la mine Duhul Tău cel Sfânt!” (Psalmul 51:10-11)
Domnul să ne dea tuturor Rusalii bogate în darurile Duhului Sfânt!
